Its ignorant because you clearly don't know how spectrum it is. Not all people with autism are to the point they can't be taken care of.

Just like how not all people like me end up in the mental hospital.

if this helps in your case, there are different levels of autism

You are really loving ignorant, I know a lot of people with DIAGNOSED autism and they work fine. Its a spectrum disorder.
You and your mother are not educated clearly.
I've seen people from all around the spectrum and I can say it is either the worst disorder to have or a win-lose case depending on factors. (Does nature or nurture affect placement on the autism spectrum, or both?)

Had my first seizure in three years couple of years ago. That gave me some really bad anxiety, much worse than I've ever experienced. It finally stopped about four months after the incident. One thing that aggravated was my friend said that her friend (who I met) died of a seizure.

how is that ignorant, I'm share my end of what I know, if you don't like it, just move on to something else
Instead of just moving on he explained to you why what you said is ignorant, that it's a spectrum disorder and that not all people with autism are that severely impacted. You were wrong and he explained that what you "knew" was ignorant, no problem here.

ADHD is a nuance of ADD, get rid of it.

nah, there's enough of a difference in some cases for it to be separate.

so... do you not know what autism is either? it can be something like some social anxiety. it doesn't have to be debilitating, nor does it have to make you a genius in some subject, which I assume is what you mean by "win-lose"

So many people here are so uneducated on autism its beyond my comprehension. Its one thing to accept that they were wrong when someone tells them and then learn. But clearly this isn't the case.

my mother is over at my new apartment I just moved into, she just saw my posts and told me about autism.  When she told me about it before, I was confusing it with another disability and I want to say sorry for my rudeness.

One other thing, I am educated thank you very much!  If you read my posts about me being mentally delayed, you just witness how my brain works.

I have severe Tourette's Syndrome, and I plan to have surgery for it when I'm 18 or try out medical marijuana prescribed by my neurologist. It effects all aspects of my life.

I thought you already knew about that-

actually, this wasn't the first time I confused one thing for another thing, so right now, I'm eating my own words.  When I confuse things like that, I tend to argue about it and stand by my own words.  You can say I was being more stubborn

Asperger's seems to be a confusing spot in the spectrum also. Some aspies are smart and other "aspies" will pull off a LegoFish (and will hopefully change when they become 14-16).
some individuals who turned themselves around for the better:
frogger3140 (now known as axo-tak; he used to be a jerk on the forums and eventually got banned several times, but he has since cast aside his old ways and become a respectable forum member)
jcat21 (he used to be a real troublemaker on the old RTB forums but since then he returned to the forums as Arcturus)
thecableguy (aka me)
