Ableist much?
oh my god lol im laughing so hard
it doesn't matter where it's from
did you even read it?
yes, in this case, it does
using tumblr, a totally non-biased and completely factually based resource (im being sarcastic just so you know), as a source for your argument is not okay

well, no it doesn't
it doesn't make any difference where it's from

"im going to use http://www.godhatescigarettes.com/ as an argument for why being gay is wrong" -you, basically

Calling someone 'handicapped' is ablelist. Its like calling someone a racial slur, regardless if they are that race or not its tribal to say.

"im going to use http://www.godhatescigarettes.com/ as an argument for why being gay is wrong" -you, basically
the site it came from wouldn't be what makes it wrong

thats really handicapped
the site it came from wouldn't be what makes it wrong
you're basically using tumblr, a site full of people who like to self diagnose, as a source (written by people who like to self diagnose) to why self diagnosing is ok
you dont see anything wrong with that? no conflict of interest, no bias, nothing?

Frankie, look up "ad hominem argumentum." The fact that the WBC's argument makes no sense is what matters, not the source.

thats really handicapped
And you're an albelist starfish, thank you for proving my point.

All arguments over subjective things are inherently biased.

And you're an albelist starfish, thank you for proving my point.
uuuuh alright?

tumblr users who like attention that comes from having some sort of disorder compared to a practicing professional? id take the latter

My brother has autism and is nonverbal
That's why I loathe autism jokes

do you call a doctor every time you get a cold? to make sure that you actually have a cold and you don't just want attention?

do you call a doctor every time you get a cold? to make sure that you actually have a cold and you don't just want attention?
Probably a bad choice for a comparison. A cold isn't a big deal, and is probably misdiagnosed by people a lot.

uuuuh alright?
Exactly.

do you call a doctor every time you get a cold? to make sure that you actually have a cold and you don't just want attention?
A cold isn't near as severe as a disability but your point could still stand.

do you call a doctor every time you get a cold? to make sure that you actually have a cold and you don't just want attention?
most people have multiple colds in their life, so they can usually tell they have it when the symptoms come back
it would be the same way if someone had depression or something, too, but most people dont have annual depression
if i went to africa and thought i was having the symptoms of malaria id go to a doctor before telling everyone that i had it
Exactly.
what?
