At least it's breaking a certain pattern in my gaming habits.

Hey its true. Origin is a nicer program than steam and their tech support is MUCH better.

Steam has a stuffton more games though, Ill give them that, and all of my friends use it.
but it's ran by a publisher that destroys any developer it touches

If this isn't sarcasm, I might have an aneurysm.

How? You're the one and only I've seen so far and I'm actually serious.
I play the Sims for customization and only customization. The Sims 3 wins for that alone. I also didn't own the Sims 2 when I first started playing.

Played some RA 2 to relive some of that old RTS nostalgia.

Sim customisation was a lot better in 3, granted, but house customisation was about the same (at least not how I remember it).

Also why so hostile Daswiruch?

Thanks for the heads up, I had various Sims 2 discs ages ago but misplaced them, also reminded me that I had some other freebies in my library that I completely forgot about

Ugh, without origin would be better...

I'm not sure if this is the case with all Origin games but with at least some of them (my only experience being Mass Effect) literally all you need to use the Origin software itself for is installation and then you can run the game without it

I don't want to be that guy but it really is nice to get free games from a company you aren't fond of, isn't it?
