it would be a very vanilla version of blockland. you guys cant live without your addons.
and if it were still possible to have addons. then badspot would more likely not do it to prevent a split the community that would make the already disorganized mod community that the game depends on from being effective.
Yeah, if Blockland were much much bigger (like Minecraft scale big) then I don't think there'd be an issue, since the fact that Minecraft Console editions aren't moddable doesn't stop it's popularity or affect the PC community.
Plus, he could hire someone to professionally port the game effectively.
To get around a lack of Add-Ons, I think idealy it would have slightly more frequent updates in which certain accepted Add-Ons are included (and then capable of being toggled), like extra vehicles or weapons or decals or coloursets, as well as tools like duplicators, fillcans, etc...
