Telling people not to add this one guy is pointless because there are literally thousands of other accounts doing this

This. It's getting so much worse too, now I get 2-3 bots adding me a day

Thats why on trade sites i explicitly tell people to send either trade requests or to leave the offer below. I auto-block random adds, especially the obvious ones.

They with either be level 0, have no avatar, or have a random name. Recently, ive noticed that level 4s are also showing up, but its only those 2.

Also, their profile is almost always private.

Well*, bots used to put phishing links straight on trades at tf2outpost for quite a while. They only just started adding people automatically within the past few months
