did you even read it..... it's a dynamic page
this is a dynamic page. this entire page that you're posting on was created dynamically. but no matter who you are or where you are in the world, you will not get a 404 when you go to this url, unless the page gets deleted at some point
the only way you will get a 404 is if a page doesn't exist

yes, and do you know what this kind of web page is called? a server side dynamic web page. do you know what the one in the OP most likely is? a client side dynamic web page

first of all, there's no such thing as a client-side web page. secondly, CGI is server-sided (edit: well, not exactly. it's how to client interacts with the server. but anyway, it's still on the server (second edit: wait no, it's how the server interacts with the software on it. so yes, it's entirely server-side)). like PHP, which this forum runs on

do you even understand what 'dynamic' means in this context?

I already corrected what I said to client side dynamic web page, which does exist. also I thought CGI was client sided so I guess I'm wrong on that part

i apologize

10/10 would get trolled again... didnt your ban just expire like yesterday?

no, it doesn't. did you read the "client-side scripting" section which I'm sure is what you're referring to? it specifically says that it changes a web page that is on the server. it doesn't create a new web page on the client side. because that isn't possible

ok honest question
OP could have just made an HTML page like that, opened it and then changed the url to forum.blockland.us/login.cgi because there isn't any other valid way he could've found that. SMF doesn't even have a page like that

A client-side dynamic web page processes the web page using HTML scripting running in the browser as it loads. JavaScript and other scripting languages determine the way the HTML in the received page is parsed into the Document Object Model, or DOM, that represents the loaded web page. The same client-side techniques can then dynamically update or change the DOM in the same way.

that's not even remotely what you're trying to tell me. the web page HAS TO EXIST ON THE SERVER. it does not create web pages. calling it a "client-side dynamic web page" doesn't mean that it's a web page on the client side. it means that it is dynamic on the client side. that's it. there is no such thing as a client-side web page

well before that I got a message from the router that said the connection to provider failed or something

it was http://1.0(some 0 and 1s)/wizardoi

just saying I have no idea how to make a webpage look like that.

im confused, a site that tried to steal your account info and post research with it? or just a BLF error?
