If we had more gun control we wouldn't have all these crazy-ass militias running around, and less school shootings. I don't want to live in fear, knowing that someone could shoot me at any given moment should they choose to.

While I dont think literally EVERYONE should have a firearm, why can't we treat it in the same fashion as getting a drivers licence? Education first, permit second. It will allow people to actually KNOW what the the forget they are carrying in their hands.

I thought it was already like this. I have a firearm safety permit that I earned through classes, I always thought it was required to buy a gun. Or is it only required for a hunting permit, or what?

Tbh it should be taught along side drivers ed, perhaps senior year

I actually did earn previously-mentioned firearm safety permit through a senior year class.

i don't think you understand. a gun is designed to kill. if you use a gun responsibly, it will still kill someone. if you use a car responsibly, it wont still kill someone.

criminals can easily make their own guns or obtain them from shipments from other countries. Banning guns of any sort does nothing, because the criminals will just get around it.

umm, I'm pretty sure there're tests for that..if you have some type of mental disorder or emotional disorder you should be tested before you can have a gun

Look, you can't always count on a test to solve it, Im pretty sure that half of the massacres that happened have probably never seemed ever to have a bad Record until the Crime
