You can dig back a few pages and find what I did with everything. The military turned into town and city guards, loyal to Atenisia and therefore the Albiton government.

Wouldn't it also make sense to get as far from Albiton as possible?
Hasn't Avalonia proven to be a great place for exiles and refugees?
Wouldn't Avalonian vessels be happy to make a profit transporting refugees?

Anyhow, after the refugees stop coming in quantities worth bothering over and ease of selling resistance type stuff drops with occupation, Avalonian ships begin to travel up that way with lesser frequency and generally just to trade with Aspidis.  Ships now tend to go as far as the Pachtland or so and focus is on the East.
