Given the size of the enemy armies, The Council authorizes greater numbers of troops to be involved in the invasion (up to 18k, more if needed). What remains of the troop ships (relatively few were actually involved in the beachhead action, most held in reserve for successive forces landing, that sure worked well :I) and warfleet is used to ferry troops to the besieged beachhead and guard these ships (I assume the beachhead hasn't fallen yet, if it had it would have been worth mentioning).
An attempt is made to sneak spies deep into the area of conflict to raise an army of ethnic Avalonians, or at least to form some kind of resistance movement, or something to screw up enemy activity from behind the lines. Avalonians fluent in the Britonic tongue, most from isolated areas on Avalonia where the heritage is more Norse and less Germanic, are sent in to accomplish this. Speaking of this, these Avalonians were already oppressed and the Britons should realistically be expending some military force on keeping them down, not wholly on keeping me out.
Wow Avalonia rolled poorly. Literally nobody had it worse. Onward and upward, all fingers crossed.
