King Caleb II passes away quietly in his bed at the age of 57. Thousands gather to watch mournfully as his body is transported from the palace to a tomb on the western fringes of the capitol. Three days later, Caleb III inherits the throne and is crowned the new king of Virlinde.

Researching shipbuilders determine that an effective warship design requires that two main qualities are present: the ability to maneuver quickly and perform bursts of speed, and a reliable means to disable enemy ships and allow for boarding. After years of trial and error, Virlinde produces its first successful galley, which features an elongated hull, a rounded stern and a bow purposely shaped to serve as both a battering ram and a boarding platform.

Although yet to be tested in battle, Caleb III finds the new development promising and begins consulting with his council about building a fleet of warships and forming a dedicated naval force. Despite showing interest, the council becomes reluctant to enact the decision after realizing that building and maintaining such a fleet would be highly expensive.

With the increase in usage of medication and health consultation, both child rearing and life expectancy in Roa see a marked improvement. The population grows by approximately 1000.

really can't advanced anything until gojira answers

Iron Research finished. A small amount of Kanisteieir divisions begin to be fitted with Iron weapons and armor.

As Avalonian ships sail farther West on trading voyages, the island about midway in the Southern part of the < becomes a waypoint for Avalonian vessels.  As the island is largely uninhabited save for a small fishing village on the Eastern coast, Avalonian vessels have begun to set up a settlement in the bay of one of the island's two natural harbors (fishing village in other one).  Soon thereafter, the Avalonian government sends vessels laden with stonecutters and masons to build some defenses and buildings, namely a small wall that runs around the town and into the harbor by about 50 feet, and some storehouses and houses.  Avalonian nautical engineers steal some design aspects from the boats of the fishing village.

Avalonian traders begin to sell goods in the "Neutral Lands" between Espul and the fatherland.  Emphasis is given to bringing in different varieties of food and animals and also bronze in exchange for various items which are also being traded at sea.

Avalonian soldiers continue to practice and arm and stuff.  Encouragement from the Avalonian Council is given throughout Avalonia for every able bodied man to be able, at least, to ride a horse and wield a sword or bow.  It's not an official mandate, but many throughout Avalonia begin to practice these things (Avalonia has more than double in horses than in able bodied men, so the first part's no huge deal).  Larger Avalonian towns, and those by the frontier/border  receive instruction to appoint a courier who will ride to Avalonia should the town come under attack.

Infrastructure is finished. Farmers and merchants quite enjoy the new mostly bandit-free roads.

Livestock on the Western borders begins disappearing. Local elders begin investigating.

Sorry guys. Should have an events tomorrow after work.

Atenisia begins a Council rule until the Citizen Assembly gets its stuff together., turning itself into a representative democracy rather than a psuedo direct-representative democracy.

Stability will probably increases, the ability to do simple tasks will probably back in business.

Expansion south is now possible, and so it is done, peacefully, of course. All villages who want to join Atenisia will be accepted in. Those who do not, however, will be allowed to remain independent, but will be provided protection (although the villagers won't be citizens).

Mikoyan, I am curious why you never responded to my actions towards the Albitons.

Better Swords: 100%
