can't drink tap water where i live

I could never drink the tap water where I live. It's the most disgusting tap water I've ever had. We actually got a letter from the EPA saying that the water didn't have enough chlorine and they were over the EPA standard for microorganisms and that we shouldn't of used it for anything at all.

but its bad for you. Destroys teeth, bad for bones, makes people fat. It's not bad if you aren't drinking frequently, but if that is all you drink it could be bad.

I'm really loving skinny, but I have a really bad soda/caffeine addiction.

You could possibly setup something to distill the water, the water you collect from that might be less toxic - the news article says that it gets more concentrated when you boil it, so it isn't coming off in the vapour.

Distilling water makes it taste like stuff, it's way easier to just get a water cooler and get 5 gallon jugs of water. That's what I do and not only is the water safe to drink it tastes good too.

Distilled water wouldn't have much of a taste because it is almost 100% pure. I'm not sure how it could taste bad.

That's why it tastes like stuff, normal water has minerals in it that give it a certain taste. It tastes weird without them.

I drank water from a gallon of distilled water before by accident and it tasted gross

Did they ever announce how contaminated the water is? We're allowed to bathe in it, but can't drink still.

Everyone near me has done nothing but talk about the water. It's annoying as forget.

as far as im aware nearly everywhere in britain has safe clean tap water
i'd presume that france and germany would have the same but i know that many parts of the southern european countries don't have good tap water

I have well water, I'd never connect to city water for this reason. On top of my well water I have an RO filter.

My gross ass water is from a well, it's ran by the community I live in but it's still a well. Though to be fair they have a lot of trouble maintaining it because half the people that live here don't pay there dues.

I don't think you understood my post. The well I have supplies water for over a hundred people. It's ran by my communities water company.
