You guys are silly, you can build a PC for around 400 that's better than the 'next gen' consoles, so unless the port for GTA 5 is extreme stuff, he should be able to run it with a decent 400 built computer. I'm too tired to look for a build right now though.

You guys are silly, you can build a PC for around 400 that's better than the 'next gen' consoles, so unless the port for GTA 5 is extreme stuff, he should be able to run it with a decent 400 built computer. I'm too tired to look for a build right now though.

 A GPU that compares to a PS4s or a Xbox One GPU would be between $200-$300 alone, not counting the motherboard, cpu, RAM, case, etc.

Its not really possible to build a gaming PC less than $800-$1000 that can run modern games at higher settings with a decent framerate.
