Author Topic: The music industry once again clearly ripping off Blockland  (Read 1389 times)

Listen hard around 00:10: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwAIwRrs6xs

And now compare: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMQYrvo5lNY

In short, Filipe needs to lawyer UP

intro desription:

"Music: Royksopp - Happy Up Here"

what makes you think filipe made the music in his intro
and if he had, what makes you think he would copyright it

The music used in Filipe's intro is "Happy Up Here"

So they aren't ripping off Blockland, or Filipe, in any way.

I expected a rip off of after school special.

p sure the musics in bl are default tracks in a music making program

he just sampled royksöpp's "happy up here" nothing to worry about folks

also the sounds from blockland indeed look like sounds that you get on a cd because i was poking around in the sounds last night and some of the mp3s had stuff like "beep 14" encoded as the name

no running level 1 studios

(also thanks for the band discovery these guys sound awesome)

after school special is from a mexican research film

filipe didn't even make the music
Quote from: Description
Music: Royksopp - Happy Up Here

and plus they dont really sound that similar

even more disappointing that people actually listen to the music from the OP

Wait, what do you mean by once again?

I expected a rip off of after school special.

also
after school special is from a mexican research film
the name "after school special" would be fitting
