Author Topic: single brick vehicles?  (Read 949 times)

I was wondering, how difficult would it be to turn a vehicle's DTS into a blb? is it even possible?

Another option would be to place the DTS as a static shape, but I'd rather not do that. Especially if it doesn't save with the build, idk if it would.

So anyway, would this be possible, or would I have to ask the vehicle maker for the original, non DTS file?

On a side note, IDK how to get a BLB into the game. Why isn't there a tutorial yet?

It would work out much better getting the original from the owner and using the .obj to .blb, alternatively you can grab Shaper and turn .dts into .obj's

Okay. So assuming the could get the models, there's still the issue of turning an obj into a brick.

For a multi colored model as complex as a vehicle, I wonder how difficult it would be to get it in game.

I have not a clue if the .obj to .blb converter does it, if not then modifying the file to the correct colours wont be too hard, just time consuming.

hmm, ok. I'd probably just make the windows solid colors and just do the exterior, would be easier.

Some vehicle bricks would be good for decoration. Using built vehicles as decoration and "real" vehicles for driving creates inconsistencies; something I'd like to avoid.

Smart move making the windows solid colors; that way people won't confuse them for functional vehicles.
