but i thought absinthe was just an anise based drink that tastes amazing when prepared correctly
at least thats the only absinthe ive had
Yeah and no. Absinthe was demonized and people were told it was dangerous and stuff but it never was. Pretty much nobody drinks absinthe anymore because of all the negative connotation there used to be toward it.
