I'm getting my upper wisdoms removed in September, and since I refuse to take pain meds after surgery I'll have all the vicodin for recreational use. I read around a bit and everyone seems to have different experiences with vicodin.

I don't like opiates, but neon wants to try them again despite her awful first experience. They just don't do much for me, I get lethargic and a little nauseous and feel comfortable. But I'm a person who feels comfortable pretty much anywhere; I sleep in jeans. So when it comes to the toss up of would I rather be sober or feel a little slowed and more comfortable, I find myself picking sober.

In fact, I like sobriety more than most drugs. I like some benzos but not a lot because they forget with my ability to do things like drive for too long. I like smoking wax but it's too much effort and money to go out of my way to do that. I like MDMA but the next day I kind of feel like stuff. I like LSD but it's way too much of a commitment to do more than once every like 6 months. I like 2C-B but it's not euphoric enough to call to me. Stimulants have stuffty comedowns and I don't have easy access.

Really the only two drugs that I could use once a week or more are cocaine and alcohol. Alcohol isn't in itself euphoric to me, but it facilitates a whole lot of fun. Cocaine I obviously don't use with frequency because I'm not into sucking richard at rock bottom. There's also nicotine, but it's effects are so light that it's difficult for me to classify as a drug rather than an 'addictive' substance.

has anyone ever had trouble breathing and pain in the hinges of your jaw after smoking weed? would doing it out of a bong matter?

Trouble breathing could be from the lung irritation. Hinges of your jaw hurting could be from opening your mouth wide to take a hit off the bong.

i just put my lips inside the cylinder and suck the smoke lmao. i'm not using too much pressure. lung irritation? i don't recall my friends experiencing this, and they have lung irritation while smoking.

I don't know how you smoke, but a lot of people will 'brace' their mouth for the incoming load of harsh smoke. Bracing your jaw could lead to soreness.

Your friends' lungs are different than your lungs. They may be more used to smoke. You may have mild athsma that is only notable when your lungs are irritated. There's any number of ways that you could have trouble breathing from inhaling smoke, but my bet is on tissue inflammation.

i do have some asthma, but i don't know the severity as i was a kid when i was diagnosed.

im not a doctor but reliable sources tell me that you shouldn't smoke if you got asthma
that just kinda seems like you're asking for trouble, you know?

They don't give vicodin anymore, pretty sure its hydrocodone now. It's what I got and both my mother and my friend said they give hydro now.

depends on the severity. i can breathe, but it feels like there's a little more effort to do it. after about 15 mins though, i don't feel that anymore along with the jaw hurting.

Hydrocodone is the active chemical in vicodin. They use the term hydrocodone to refer to a generic version of vicodin. Vicodin is Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and Hydrocodone.
