just dropping a medication that you were prescribed after a week of usage is a really, really bad idea. it can lead to even more problems than if you were to just take it as prescribed

you should've just continued taking it and talked to your doctor ASAP about the personality shift

i had that feeling that tells you that you need to stop- NOW.

why do some of you seem to think that weed is a magical, fix-all, cure-all disease and/or illness remover?
Because the only thing that relives the withdrawal symptoms to the pills I'm addicted to is weed
Edit: these are perscription pills that I did NOT abuse btw

swapping out one addiction for another isn't really that good of an idea

Except that I'm not addicted to weed. I haven't smoked in like three weeks and I've experienced no withdrawal symptoms from it. But since I don't have my weed I have to keep on taking the pills that are stuff for me. Dude this is the Rec drug thread take your raging weed hate boner elsewhere. I'm not going to justify the use of a relatively harmless drug in a thread about doing drugs

I had a 'personality switch' because of meds. The switch turned me very violent. I tossed them and never looked back.
That day it happened I got so angry and violent that I had to run out to the woods before I accidently hurt someone. No more of that

There is no addiction to weed, I haven't smoked much in a week but the stress that comes with the house is getting to me which is why I've been antsy. However when I quit tobacco I was ready to slam my head into the desk from withdrawal.

Das hates everything is his problem. He thinks that popping pills is oh so healthy.

Oh boy am I lucky I only use things for recreational use

Weed is primarily a rec. drug for me. Only recently has it gained medicinal value to me.

yea my brother told me for the 4th time yesterday that he was gonna quit using chewing tobacco--he has a whole plan figured out involving cognitive dissonance, a week of stuff, and filling extra dopamine sensors with hobbies. tobacco's a hell of a drug lol

It's pretty stupid to start in the first place. You don't need to be a genius to deny an offer. I've had many friends offer me cigarettes, but I never accept because there is no reason to. If you're still tempted to smoke cigarettes, despite seeing those advertisements about the harmful side effects - then you're just plain stupid.

I'm pretty sure we went over this about 100 pages ago on your previous account, Caribou. Its all relative, no need to discuss it again.

I know relatove. Believe me--this is not it.

I first started medically but then the high grew on me. I found myself to enjoy the feeling of happiness and such. It makes me feel so ethereal and free.

Tobacco is terrible, when I was doing it I got to a bad point and anytime I didn't have it I was very on edge and not the person you wanted to be around. When I don't have my herbs I just get a little eh but bearable.

I tried dip once. Forget that, it's terrible.

You must live in a perfect land where stress doesn't exist.

I'm saying you're acting like one of those people who thinks that pills are the way to go all the time and that they won't harm you unlike the devils lettuce.
