Author Topic: When Drawing With Digitizer (Turcom TS-6580), Lines Come Out Blocky  (Read 1484 times)

Title really says all, but here's an example, mouse on the left, digitizer on the right.(I wasn't sure where to put this in so I put it in Off-Topic, please let me know if this goes someplace else.)

It turns out blocky (right) and it really bothers me. A lot.

Any help?

They look the same to me bro.

idk, it looks kinda weird in Paint.NET

It might just be in Paint.NET, it still bugs me

They don't look the same to me. However, the ones on the right appear to be much smoother and overall higher in quality. Is that somehow an issue?

Paint.NET
There's your problem. Paint Tool SAI is easily one of the best image manipulators for tablet input.

It doesn't recognize the tablet

Try GIMP.
GIMP is over complicated imo, I can't seem to get a good drawing out of it either...

gimp is absolute ass at lines

i can see what he's talking about. notice the lines for his tablet seem like theyre locked on a small grid rather than smoothly transitioning (in the case of anti-aliasing). use SAI or photoshop, they're much better for drawing with a tablet. heck, use ms paint if that's your fancy.

Like I said SAI doesn't recognize my tablet

I don't have the money for Photoshop either

Use CS2 or a trial if the downloads are still up

I tried the trial and it was too restricting imo, I'll try CS2.

Adobe took down the links containing the setup files and the product keys. (I saved them though, as long as this isn't considered piracy I could PM the html file as long as the download links still work)
