I'm very sorry, I watched my dog die of cancer right before my eyes when I was 7 or 8, but that's nothing compared to this. I'm sorry for your loss but know that things will get better, if you give them time.

Shooting him was the only right thing to do. There's no way he could have been saved. He was lying in a pool of his own blood paralyzed with a snapped neck, choking on his own blood. I wasn't going to let him die a slow and painful death.
