Old router was a Linksys WRT54G2, bought all the way back in 2007. New one is a Netgear R6300.

The distance on wireless was only about 40 feet away, with 1 wall in the way. That's how much of a piece of stuff my old one was.

I wasn't getting what I was paying for and the router was to blame.
