I can't play blockland because my key is not authenticating. I recently got a new key, made a new steam account and put it in to the forums. I am using my original key to play the game but I can't use it as connection to the steamAPI fails.

Any fix or is it for everyone?

I just RECENTLY started getting this error.

This happened like 10 minutes ago.

Before that, I was on several servers playing multiplayer as per usual.

Seems to be a momentary bug, probably just wait it out.

This happens every now and then for a lot of steam users (I am suffering from this problem as well) and I have yet to find a workaround. If one is found, please, for the love of god, sticky it.

Yup, it's happening to me too.

It's even worse, since I was on a server where I spontaneously crashed beforehand, and now I can't get back into it.

It may be the steam beta update thats breaking blockland authentication.

Pretty much this, not sure why though. If you're not a common server host, running Blockland via BlocklandLauncher.exe may work.

No I'm currently experiencing it without the Beta.

In fact, I can't even access the internet when I shift+tab, and that's in blockland only, too. I can do it in other games no problem.

It's a shame, I'm finally getting back into this game and I experience this error on the last night I'm available to play.

I won't be seeing this game for a month. :(

You don't use Steam then,
(Note: adding blockland as a non steam game doesn't change anything)
