A much more busy case.

But you didn't know about it, right? That's cool but your actions aren't important here, lol.how easy are those guns to access, anyways?

You can't justify the fact that the majority of media reports about shooting incidents that go viral are usually the ones when the victim is black.

I will admit most of them are in the casings/wrappings

but at my walmart I can go up and grab one from the display so pretty easy.

Can I maybe get an instance where a white man with a BB gun is shot?
I'm gonna do a few quick searches for some.

They most likely have tags on them to prevent theft anyways, lol.

no some of the rifles are in cardboard boxes

This Crosman M4 that looks fairly realistic (remember if you're a cop you can automatically tell the difference) comes in a cardboard box

I do not work for a police department, and I'm not in charge of criminal statistics, so I wouldn't be in the position to give an instance. There are many whites who are shot by police with no reason or for a petty crime, or just brutalized by the police and these things never go viral. A black boy though gets beaten by a cop? That makes it to the front page of the NY Times, and then Mr. Al Sharpton comes into the picture. Meanwhile, thousands of blacks kill each-other each day in Chicago, LA, Miami, NYC, Detroit, and in Cleveland and you don't see any black civil rights activists speaking against that. It is truly repulsive and disgusting

Okay I found one:
http://abc7news.com/archive/8676373/
A white man pulls a fake gun on two officers with malicious intent and gets shot.
"Officers say the weapon the man used was identical to a non-lethal CO2 BB gun made to look like a Beretta. Officers obviously had a difficult time noticing the difference in the middle of the night from 30 feet away."
They had trouble noticing at night from a well-off distance, which implies that they could've discerned that it was a BB gun and took precautions beforehand.

And those are probably not able to be used without taking them out the packaging, IF you can even get something that expensive out the packaging without some binds.

You'd have to be really prepared to do all this before getting caught, too.

Uh, yeah they do. Where are you?

a cardboard box is not hard to open...

the guy "popped the little staples off"
this is your superior packaging preventing anti-theft

Where are you? I don't see Al Sharpton or other black activists doing anything about it, or speaking about it. Also take a look at this: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/arrests-made-shooting-deaths-n-teens-killed-days-article-1.1891414

I'd love to see a front page headline in any major city's newspaper like this: "White New Jersey Boy Shot by 3 Blacks", it'll never happen though because that's 'racism'. Also you know what else I get a kick from? When there is a segment on the news about a criminal on the loose, and a lot of the time they give information on the criminal and his or her build, height, weight, except the person's race because that is considered to be "racial profiling". That's not racial profiling, it's called trying to identify someone.

Well I'm looking for career in law enforcement and I'm a moderate, so I am going to approach the event level headed as possible.
hey me too

but still, if cops tell you to put it down, just put it down, don't point it at them or around them.

Airsoft guns look a lot like what they're based off of sometimes, and i'm sure cops would rather go off their instinct on whether it's fake or not rather than taking the time to think, since waiting longer until firing at the guy may mean the cop or his partners getting shot. Whenever somebody has a gun and are holding it around cops, it's easy for them to raise it in a split second and start firing at them at any given moment, from what i've seen.

Real gun is at the top, fake is on the bottom. (this isn't the gun involved in the news story, though)

I thought fake airsoft guns were required to have that orange tip on them to signify to police that it was fake.

I guess BB guns are a different story though...

I have a friend who spraypaints his guns black. Although they are very obviously painted, the orange tip is no longer visible.

Yes
BB and Pellet guns can look incredibly similar and can seriously pack a punch

A lot of weapons don't have that orange thingy, or they are atleast seperate. My BB Rifle certainly doesn't have one at all.

not always
