The news bulletins here don't cover what's going on all over the news stations here in St. Louis. There are two perspectives of what happened in this situation. From the cop's story, an 18-year-old guy (Michael Brown) got into a tussle with the police officer. The kid fought for the cop's gun and ended up being killed by the cop in self defense.

The locals are having absolute meltdowns though. They claim that the cop murdered the kid after he had his hands in the air and was begging him not to shoot.

Hundreds and hundreds of people are now burning things and vandalizing property. Police cars are being damaged and stores are being rioted. It's a real mess now.

KSDK is now saying something about the same attorney that represented Trayvon Martin's case is now going to represent Michael Brown's case. News is too new to be on the Internet yet, will find sources.

as usual, dumbasses making up reasons to riot and hate cops

I like how neither of those articles say anything that you said in the OP

Everything I said in the OP is what I'm hearing on KSDK right now. People are standing on street corners shouting at officers with riot shields, there are gunshots and looting, and emergency vehicles blocking streets everywhere.

Looking like a Trayvon incident all over again.

This is why we NEED Robocop!
Robo is my hero :)

God, why do people throw fits after stories like this all the time?

Can't we wait a bit to see what evidence is there?

Thing is, unlike the Trayvon case, it happened on a public street and people think they saw what happened. And it's not in favor of the cop.

Here comes the second reincarnation of the fraudulent Trayvon Martin case! And another excuse for people to steal and burn down their own neighborhoods!

I leave Missouri for 2 days and this is what happens.

anarchy!!! smash the pigs. hope this blows up real big, like 24 hour cable news coverage big. fingers crossed :)

lol it seems like media just forgetin loves this stuff

They want anything that gets people gossiping, because they'll want to eat up anything they can get over the situation, and thus media will sell more by writing more about it.

It's a giant spiral of money-making.

Live breaking news still on.

More stores are hit and looted. The QuikTrip mentioned earlier now has a fire inside. Cops are running all over the place and people are vaulting counters knocking things over in stores on live TV.
