While I am somewhat offended that people with the likes of Emo Freak and Furdle have been placed on a list that is described as "above the rest" (us), I do feel as if there is an 'upper class' of users who are objectively important members of the community. People like Bushido, Space Guy, Trader, Aloshi are examples of users who should be nominated for such status as they have made innovative add-ons that have further revolutionized the standard of created content.
However I will assert that creating add-ons or necessarily playing the game itself isn't the sole crux of someone's worth in this community. People like Sir Dooble, Destroyer are known to contribute intelligent, well thought out and level-headed additions to debate and discussion. There are also other well respected members of the community that exemplify intelligence and kindness without much content contribution, such as Magik Mage.
There are many different reasons why someone could be considered for a elevated status. Being Mura's friend is not a legitimate one.
