I get the feeling they'll probably use this as an excuse to jam in always-online DRM somehow as well.

why do you guys think multiplayer makes sim games suck? its awesome.

and no its not like ea. there are no expansions or addons or subscriptions or premium memberships to buy...

online required checks as drm isnt a bad thing. i mean thats what blockland does and you guys dont cry.

The only thing online key checking is used for is online play. Offline play doesn't require an online key-check.

Again, if it's offline that you want, all you need is offline authentication. Addons will work fine without online authentication, as long as the game deems your key is A-OK.

oh cool. so i can install blockland on an offline computer, and just enter in my key and it works.
