Let me just put down in words what happens in the video.
There's this news van, and three reporters are setting up lights, a camera, etc. in a quiet part of town. They're going to set up a mini newscast kind of thing. They aren't rioting, nobody is rioting near them. Then police just decide to gas them. Right then and there. And once the reporters are gone they drive up in their armored van, get out, and tip over all the cameras and lights.
Not to mention when two reporters were just eating in a loving McDonalds and two cops came in and arrested them.
The pot calling the kettle black.
The place is practically a warzone and your saying the news reporters who knew they weren't allowed in there are wholly innocent of any actions taken against them. Leverage, more like the exact opposite.
Read my above point, you go against the word of authority and stuff like that is going to happen, it's not their fault that you did not heed their warnings.

The police could rape your dog and you'd still say that.
