Vast Basin

I've been working on a map for my server and I'd like some criticism from you folks. So far I have built 25301 bricks over the span of three and a half hours. This is heavily within progress, and I might update as I go along if you people care

anyways, here's a couple pictures




I'm going to work a lot more on it on a public server tomorrow, in case anyone wants to stop by and add contributions to the build.

Definitely add some more trees and a bit more grass. I know it's supposed to be a dry basin but there would be at least a bit of plant life near the water. Maybe also add some bushes or something as well. I'll probably come by tomorrow and help out.

also this reminds me a bit of that old desert map with the pond and waterfall. forgot what it was called

Oh yeah, definitely. The tree bricks are fantastic and I love them, and I was planning on adding weeds and coral to the water, maybe.

And I'd love help if I can get the server up.

I honestly don't like it. The terrain doesn't flow well from level to level, it looks very unnatural.

Intended or not, it still looks bad. It doesn't make it look like a Mesa, it just makes it look badly done.

That map was home to one of my best TDM builds and great for fort wars, good times.
