Blockland.org imageboard - important poll

im sure there are many more reasons not to mod him tho

I never said I don't have a problem with furries. I think them and traps are loving degenerates.
That said, I'm allowing furry related content on the board for now for the purposes of free speech.

I'm considering trying to host this myself. Let me list some pros and cons:
Pros:

• Can use the domain blockland.org
• No constant downtimes because of overload traffic on other 8chan boards
• I can actually mod people however I want
• I could make a public ban record, so even if topics like furries are made not allowed you'll still be able to see what was posted, so it's not 4chan tier censorship
• I could add whatever features I bloody wanted to the board, as it's completely mine. Could even let people choose to post anonymously or make an account linked to your BLF account

Cons:

• No global moderation. Would have to rely 100% of whatever mods I appoint here.
• I'm basically responsible if someone decides to flood with CP, and I really don't want to deal with that stuff.
• I'd actually have to go though the effort of setting it up
• People might get butt befuddled that I'm now 100% in charge of it and don't have to let others have access to the controls

if you're going to inject your personal biases into how you moderate, i'd at least like the option of global moderation or the other two mods

My personal biases?
So far the only thing I've removed is blatant research, for obvious reasons.
The global mods don't even know this board exists yet, and there are no other mods, just people with the password. And it's momentum and Jario, idk if you really think that's an improvement.

What do you mean by other cancer? I feel like furries don't really detract from discussions here. Obviously if they go around posting research they should be banned, but furries don't really make anything worse if they keep it to themselves.
Also I'm confused what you mean by traps. I feel like traps are an entirely uncommon group of people, I doubt there's even one in the Blockland community.

On imageboards like /b/ they're very, very, very common.
I'm gonna assume someone at some point is going to try starting trap threads, even if its just to slightly annoy me.
That and I guess I'm not going to make it so you have to be a BLF user to post on it. I mean, I could, but that'd just be a lot of work.
