sequels from this game are released faster than Assassins Creed's
atleast the characters don't turn into floating eyeballs and mouths

what am i talking about, every game should be like that

I have been sending his webpage to Web Archive after every update. If anyone wants to look back at previous versions of the website, run it through Web Archive.

Too bad he isn't putting the EXIF data to use, but we can at least know when he saved the image and what program (Adobe Photoshop 7.0): http://regex.info/exif.cgi?imgurl=http://www.scottgames.com/whatcanweuse.jpg

THREE? Jesus loving Christ the developers really want kid's parents' money.
Yes, that is the goal of selling a game. To earn money. Good job.

I'm glad you're not a game developer, because you would be an awful one.

All I'm trying to say is this:

Scott made a game.
People bought this game.
People liked this game.
More people bought this game.
It became successful.

Yet you think it's bad that he made a couple of sequels to it? Shut the forget up. If people are going to play and enjoy this sequel, then it's a good sequel in my book.

Yet you think it's bad that he made a couple of sequels to it?
I think it's bad because the core gameplay is bad. I think it's bad because there's no effort put into the technical side (the options in the menu are limited at best, and the game lacks any technical polish while ingame). I think it's bad because the release schedule indicates there's a lack of effort on his part; he models a few new rooms, links them up, textures some stuff and calls it a day. I think it's bad because his "gameplay" was taken from Night Trap and any point-and-click survival game from the past 20 years.

I couldn't give two stuffs what a bunch of children think about it, because it's the equivalent of dangling some shiny keys in front of a baby for them. I'm angry that this guy is able to perpetually release stuff and get a wad of cash for it, whereas people who actually put lots of hard work into their games get barely anything.

Apparently you care enough to click on this thread and tell everyone what they like is bad.

I think it's bad because the core gameplay is bad.
Why does it matter if you don't play it?

I'm angry that this guy is able to perpetually release stuff and get a wad of cash for it, whereas people who actually put lots of hard work into their games get barely anything.
Well then keep being angry, because people are going to continue playing what they want and you cannot do anything about it.

Apparently you care enough to click on this thread and tell everyone what they like is bad.
You had the stupidity to declare an (incorrect) opinion as fact about game development. I'm not here to stuff on FNAF; that's a side-effect.

Why does it matter if you don't play it?
Because I make games, and I want to make games that appeal to younger audiences so I can educate them on things they don't learn at school.

This game disgusts me.

Well then keep being angry, because people are going to continue playing what they want and you cannot do anything about it.
Fine, but don't think you're "threatening" me by playing the game. You're wasting your own time and your own money, and I'm not going to be responsible when you realise this was all a fad, and you're bored with it.

you're here ranting about game design.

everything is ultimately a fad, it'll last as long as it lasts and then will fade into obscurity where only some people vaguely remember it.

the same will happen to any game you might produce too.

also if you ignore a game's value outside of gameplay, you completely are missing the fact that games don't need to have amazing gameplay to have value.

also, if people want to enjoy the game, let them and don't preach about game design here, go complain about it in the game design thread.

an (incorrect) opinion
Lol.

This game disgusts me.
But you see, no one in this thread gives a stuff.

Fine, but don't think you're "threatening" me by playing the game.
Lol.

Scott Cawthon  is turning our theories into false claims since he watches them and does the opposite of those theories for example, Game theory of FNAF1 was wrong and many more.

job forget off already, you go into every topic about how you hate it, seriously just leave
nobody needs your negativity
