This is a game about exploring a full-scale solar system, with asteroids and everything. I like to think of it as a "tiny No Man's Sky". This game IS in early alpha, play at your own expense.

I'd turn this into a megathread, but I'm too lazy.

Bump because this needs to be known.

i wish i wasnt such a poor starfish so i could buy this game

I didn't like the way the emitters and projectiles don't seem to match the ships. They're all smooth and fancy, but the emitters are just lots of squares, not unlike those in Blockland.
Just doesn't match up for me.

Muffinmix made square emitters that look identical to those actually :cookieMonster:

Oh my god, yeah

OT: Exploring the entire solar system seems a little extreme, especially to scale

I don't know man, this game just seems like a rushed No Man's Sky just for the sakes of extra coverage.

rodina came before no man's sky was announced. iirc this was the inspiration for that one game (0x10c) notch was making then scrapped.

but yeah, it looks pretty poor in the graphics department right now (well, in just about every department, really. it's like it's a tech demo), but seems like it has potential.

So Space Engine and Space Engineers had an autistic child?

why is autism so funny?

OT: I may get this once my gosh darned computer is fixed by Friday. It's been broken since mid June, and I've been using my iPad and phone.

Played the demo last night (didn't run to well on my laptop :L ). IMO this game has loads of potential, but I hope they keep the mysterious feeling that it currently has

I'll defiantly be keeping an eye on this. Might even buy it depending on what direction it ends up going.

jefmajor's playthrough of the game on alpha a month or two ago

it's pretty sci-fi. this game captures the best loving feeling of warping at near lightspeed, though (scares the forget out of me).
