McZealot was in the wrong here. Can't he just apologize for saying something as stupid as "you can have a low powered gun but if your gun has a scope on it come the apocalypse you're a redneck with a power fantasy"
well the point of the thread is to hypothesize about something you might have in the future. i'm saying that if you will just buy a high powered gun with a scope you ARE a redneck with a power fantasy. it's a personal opinion and there are no right or wrong answers. stop derailing the thread, this is not the place to argue about guns.
I will now turn this innocent hunting rifle into a deadly salt rifle that does the same thing with a new look
everyone understands that guns with wooden frames look less dangerous. you aren't really doing anything with these posts. i'm saying that owning a hunting rifle for self defense in the first place or anything similar to it is wrong. high-powered guns for hunting are fine, but i'm really not the most educated person on this issue.
to sum up this arguement:
i say that people who buy high powered guns for self defense are crazy
several people misinterpret this for "there is no possible way anyone could obtain a high powered weapon and mczealot hates all guns for any purpose"
