How handicapped can you be? The caliber of a bullet does not loving matter at all, Sure it'll do more damage but a gun is a gun, whatever caliber that gun fires is going through your body. It's gonna stop you in your tracks most likely, A .357 and a .22 are different calibers, both hurt and both kill. Theres no such thing as a "Weak" gun. They're all guns.

a bullet is likely to kill you no matter what. it's about fire rate, guns with slow fire rates are the least dangerous. it's like saying if you are shot by a revolver and an AK47 the bullet impact will be the same thing. bullets are just pieces of metal but in some cases thousands of bullets can be fired per minute and in some cases 5-10 can be fired per minute. what do you think is more dangerous?

it's like saying pistols and miniguns are the same because they fire the same bullet.

The automatic part is dealt well enough already. Its extremely EXTREMELY difficult to obtain civilian ownership of a class 3 weapon.

But you keep going on like maybe something like the AR15 should be banned which is completely loving stupid. This is why most of the posts i've seen so far have been about weapon appearance.

i dont think anyone is saying that. its really about fire rate and how far it can shoot. ammo capacity is probably pretty important too.

my dad has guns to protect us in the case of a home invasion, and he carries one with him because his work often takes him into shoddy parts of town.

Sure no reason to own more than one. One is enough to kill anything that moves. But whether or not we need someone making it their business as to how many we can own is a whole other story. Not everyone is like you with the whole "go ahead thing" on the extra stuff. Some people were born to be extremely nosey.

Not everyone is like you with the whole "go ahead thing" on the extra stuff. Some people were born to be extremely nosey.

If someone was breaking in your home you can just shoot them with a handgun. Don't see why you'd need some special assault rifle or bolt for that.

And I don't mean to make it seem like it's my business it's just that there's no practicality for big guns other than sports.

Someone with no prior firearm training, or didn't heed respect towards firearm safety, sure.

Somebody who knows how to use guns and has safety training isn't likely to accidentally shoot anyone :n

if someone enters your home without your permission and they are unarmed, give them a VERBAL WARNING to leave if they dont, shoot. if they are armed, shoot that stupid forgeter right between the eyes
