No, it's Portable Third HD. I do have MH4 though. You don't have to live in Japan to have a Japanese 3DS.

and yeah, but isn't it locked to the japanese language? unless i was misinformed, that seems to be the case a lot with these games

i haven't learned enough japanese yet to be fluent in the language lol

After playing MH for so much, I don't even need my minimal understanding of Japanese to navigate the game. :V
With some stuff, like the Felyne exchange system, I had to look up other folks' guides and translations, but other than it's all the same stuff I'm used to working with.

Oh my god. Because I tend to use bow on bigger game for beginners, I've done this so many times to people's first hunts. It's really frustrating for everyone involved.

Also, I don't know why it's taken me so long, but I'm going to go ahead and add everyone out of the OP. We should play some time. o3o
