that settles that then i guess. no japanese ds for me :\

Always good to have more people to play MH with. Specially cuz nobody here's ever online agh
<3

Except I likely won't be buying the WiiU version of MH3u. I mean Idunno... Maybe! I still need to buy a WiiU first.

But once MH4U comes out I'll be playin that stuff 24/7

I started playing Frontier again at the behest of some friends.
500 JP shekels for new COG account because I originally signed up with my school e-mail that I can no longer use. Oh, it's a struggle, indeed.

I should probably get back into MH3U. My Wii U probably misses me.

I was playing Portable Third on the bus yesterday and was thinking "boy I wish I had a Monster Hunter to actually progress through again." And then my prayers were answered.

i want frontier so badly uuuuu

my girlfriend just got mh3u yesterday, and she's currently upset over the lagiacrus appearing in one of the first quests where you get monster guts

there are two of them

Apparently 500 JPY is only USD$4.58, so if there's time to sign up it's now.
I remember that feeling. That stuff was scary.

Is it hard to get into Frontier? I've always wanted to try but I'm intimidated by the thought of dealing with foreign languages.

I know there was a rumor that we're getting Frontier but I don't wanna waitttt

Objectively no, but by some opinions yes. There are a lot of guides on the basics, but a lot of the UIs are a bit different than even from the older games. I've been playing Japanese Monster Hunters for a while now so it's not too tough for me to recognise most things, but it can take a little brain work at first.

didnt capcom say they were gonna localize frontier like, a year ago?

I'd believe it, but it doesn't matter what they say. SEGA said PSO2 would hit the west "eventually" well over a year ago, but here we are with not even a sign of progress on that. The same for Frontier.

yeah i know, thats what i was expecting, especially considering how poor capcom is right now

Capcom's actually doing great in Japan.
