Author Topic: Stare Particle  (Read 1704 times)

I really want to make a particle that doesn't move and uses this:

I have tried multiple times to try and make this, but it either didn't save or didn't work.loving WinRAR
Anyways, I think this would be good for dark forests and stuff.

Wow that alone looks way scarier than I thought.

loving WinRAR

why? windows can do it. and why winrar anyway? 7zip is better and free

Because when zipping the contents of the folder winRar will name the archive the name if the folder.

both windows and 7zip do that...

edit: unless you mean zipping two (or whatever number) files that are inside a folder, in which case windows doesn't but 7zip still does

Windows doesn't have a built in file zipping program, and if it does, none of my computers have it. Not even my default. Winrar is free, the trial never ends and there's no difference to 7zip other than being much easier to use.

Also, "Didn't save?" How does that even happen? You create a zip folder and put stuff into it.

yeah it does. but it's not a "program," it's just a feature of the operating system. select the files, right-click, open the "Send to" submenu and it'll be right there

winrar is free on accident. as far as morality is concerned you're stealing it
and how is it easier to use?

winrar is free on accident.
the winrar guy hasn't realised this yet?

if he wanted it to be free for real, he would have gotten rid of the entire trial thing by now

I was trying to make the emitter by editing another default one, and it would not archive it and freeze when I saved it. So it didn't save correctly and I had to do it over again 3 times, it still didn't work.
