that instructor is the worst ever what kind of safety does he teach? pool safety?
Well, he doesn't teach any safety now.

Well, he doesn't teach any safety now.

Someone should definetly shoot you when your doing comedy lessons.

the girl wasn't at fault here at all. anyone who says so is trying to jump to the conclusion of banning firearms "to protect the innocence of children".
this incident was in a controlled gun range, and it can be easily assumed this was her first time with a gun, or at least a fully automatic SMG. the instructor is at fault for hardly teaching her how to handle the gun. she probably held the trigger down when it was on semi-auto, just like she did when he switched it to full auto, so she couldn't have expected the recoil. on top of that, the instructor decided to switch the gun to full auto without telling her beforehand, so she likely assumed he had fixed something on the gun to let her fire again. by the time he had started telling her it was on full auto, it was too late.

9 year old should stick to BB guns

Idk, I find peoples boners for guns so weird

"so lets give an inexperienced 9 year old a weapon that kills people and shoot at plastics targets, no one will get hurt nah that happens in movies"

I see nothing wrong with teaching a kid about gun safety.

And of course the instructor was really stupid in this situation, but it's not much different than a lifeguard jumping into a pool to save someone and breaking his neck after redundantly telling people not to dive into the pool. We're not gonna ban swimming now, are we?

no, I have no problem against gun safety, that's good.

but the way most people seem to handle guns nowadays is so irritating
"Hey daughter, lets go shoot some stuff up grab my uzi, oh right it's on full au-"

they don't realize that guns are not like COD where you can 49321349 no scope
they KILL people

This so much. People are so casual about guns. They dont seem to understand that they are weapons, not fancy decorations or toys. The lack of seriousness about guns in America is really concerning. People need to take them WAY more seriously than they do. They are more afraid of having their "toys" taken away then they are about the safety of people using them and the people around them.

He means that people aren't serious about firearms
