i lost it, and i must say every time i think about it i regret it
it was extremely fun. the characters were unique, the gameplay is challenging, and the story is pretty good as well. i myself spent 160 hours on it, and there is ample dlc that furthers your gameplay experience. if you are a fan of strategical rpgs, you will definitely love this edition. i always get butthurt on the smash topic when people just say "oh some more weaboo characters were added" because i definitely made connections with the characters.

just dont play on casual mode, it ruins one of the series coolest features, permadeath

yeah, its pretty much an expanded fire emblem game
rescuing was reworked into "pairing up" where two units can fight together at once, supports and support conversations play a much higher role in the game, magic was simplified, they added a reclassing mechanic, among many other neat things

i reccomend playing your first run on "normal classic" for a standard fire emblem experience
