Settings, Notification Center, scroll all the way to the bottom.

AMBER alerts usually go off for a missing person.
You don't have to be a dumb forget to guess what emergency alerts are.

You won't get them unless NOAA or the government sends one out. If you don't get one and it's enabled, then whatever is happening is likely not serious enough to warrant one getting sent out.

Plus, those things are annoying as stuff.
