Its not about the wrap, its probably because he used a modified version of the ferrari logo on his car. I dont know about law and copyright stuff, but im pretty sure this is the reason, not because he made his car a bit different

Why would that be illegal though? he owns the car, he owns everything on the car. Since when is it illegal to change the logo on it? After you buy the car it's yours and you should be able to do whatever you want with it.

They actually do have say over what he's done with it because they leased it to him.

it would be a law. companies only have any power because of laws
like if you bought a car using a bank, and didn't keep paying your payments. without laws about that, the bank wouldn't be able to take it back (other than by force)

everyone who posted in this topic, probably. the only way this wouldn't be about copyright would be if deadmau5 was actually leasing the car from Ferrari, in which case, the power they had to tell him to stop what he was doing still came from laws
