don't forget up and fail classes freshman year (my GPA isn't terrible but it could've been much better)

If you have something to say that won't get you suspended or beaten up, say it.  Some will hate you, others will respect your forwardness.
Don't loan anyone money unless you take something of theirs of greater value than the loan as collateral, and you get it in writing, even if it's just a couple bucks.  Charge interest, and don't forget to break the debtor's thumbs if he fails to pay you in a timely manner.
