growing vines and grass from solar apocalypse gamemode

I would like an add-on that lets me use the vines and grass from the new gamemode, solar apocalypse if you have played it. I like having the spreading vegetation and would like to be able to use it on my regular builds rather than just in that gamemode.
Perhaps even more plants that spread, such as trees and such, but definitely with some way to control their spread with commands or something. Like a /clearAllVines and stuff like that.

There used to be this mod i remeber kind of like this, it was called virus mod i think but you would place a purple virus brick and Every brick it touched would become purple and eventually disapear forever. it came with a weapon to fight the virus bricks from spreading as well. it was a fun gamemode for a bit but got anoying when people had the mod for no reason in freebuilds. P.S. sorry for my horrible spelling :P
