Author Topic: St Louis area storm situation [damage assessment, saw FOX helicopter page 3]  (Read 1592 times)

Just 6-10mi to the north. I don't know how big it is but I've been waiting for good storms for a long time now. Thunder is intensifying and my back screen door is creaking.

Oh the adrenaline yeeeeees

Edit: Tornado Warning has now been dropped as the dangerous part of the storm has left the area.

I'm an official Okie

Any advice you need?

What county are you? I'm right next to you
Electrical storm. Power might cut soon

Nah I got this.

RFD is ejecting outward towards High Ridge (10mi or so) and the actual thing is coming right in. I'm in the warning box. I just heard a gust of wind and the lights started to dim.

I'm Jefferson, the southern red county.

We live less than 9 miles of each other lol

I live right on Highway 30. The tornado just crossed it to the north.

yeah, it just passed. Didn't hit our school though :(

>locate tornado
>walk up to tornado
>beat the absolute stuff out of tornado
>hero

it's german for hunter and sounds awesome imo

Yikes. The wind died down for me but I still have power.

By the looks of it, the tornadic radar echo swallowed itself up and doesn't appear threatening anymore. There is some heavy strengthening on the rear adding more rain and wind.

Edit: Warning extended into Illinois
