Author Topic: Graphics cards and shaders problem  (Read 1056 times)

When I had my crappy Nvidia GT 430 I could run blockland on pretty decent settings (Very High shaders) with decent framerate (40-50)

But when I upgraded to a Radeon 6670 I can barely run it on high.. (22fps on max shaders)

I've looked into the issue quite a lot but i'm not sure what's wrong

AMD is well known to be stuffty with blockland shaders. Nobody's sure why. If you want to be able to run shaders well, use NVIDIA or you'll have to get a monster AMD card.

I have a 7770 ATM but can't always max it. :(

It will probably run a lot better if you OC the graphics card. Makes my framerates jump up an extra like 25-35 frames
