Since the new doors came out, nobody has really been creating JVS content and it's a little depressing. The default doors are really feature-lacking (sound, animation) and me and many other people are sticking around with JVS. Perhaps someone could create some extra doors for JVS? Here's some that I thought would be cool, if you have others feel free to post them.
Portal 2 Door: For the CW animation, the circle in the middle spins 180 degrees before the door opens rather slowly. In CCW, it skips the rotation and slides open quickly. There's no need to replicate the person on the door, though it would be cool; the idea is more to get the concept rather than the details. Recolorable portion should maybe be the blue area.
Aperture Iris Hatch: A set of 8 plates that can spin inward to create a solid metal face or spin outward to create an opening, just like a camera aperture. CW and CCW should just be mirror images, with the plates recolorable. To make sure the individual plates are visible, perhaps the leading edge (in CW) should be slightly thicker than the other side of the spoke.
More to come later. Probably. Also, it's fine if parts of them overlap into the surrounding bricks (it's practically required for the Portal door and very hard to avoid with the Iris) as long as it doesn't stop the door from opening.
