Author Topic: dark visitors in my sleep paralysis  (Read 4533 times)

I've literally had this so many times that I am not scared one bit of it anymore.

Oh god this has actually happened to me, the thing I saw was near what you described, it jolted me out of SP once I noticed it, I hate having anything near hallucinations. The whole situation reminds me of the "Deep Sleep" game saga, you should read up on it, the resemblance is uncanny.

i've seen a dark figure in a doorway at night when i went to get some water. scared the stuff out of me, but i've never seen dark figures when i wake up (the only time i woke up and had sleep paralysis, i was on my stomach and my head was turned to a wall so i couldn't see anything)

That moment when someone takes something serious and doesn't realize how serious it is.
lol, really? they're not actual entities out to kill you or inseminate you with a demon baby.

I know, but people CAN get traumatized by it. Like how I was when it happened to me when I was five.

Giant ass CAN because friends don't know what possibility is.

anything scary could "traumatize" you at a young age, but this is one of those things that you should be relieved to learn about how harmless it is and forget, unlike actual traumatizing events like abuse or rape.

lots of times as a kid i used to experience sleep paralysis

it was so strange too, because i didnt see dark figures or anything like that, it was a little girl in white. the stereotypical girl in white with long black hair that was usually over her face, and she didnt even do anything scary. sometimes id just see her run past the hall, or walk into my room and then into my closet, but man her very presence was the most bone chilling and skin crawling thing ive ever felt.

now dont get me wrong, there where times where she did things a little scary, like standing at the end of my bed, or maybe sitting/standing right beside me. but it was the little things she did that where the worst, like simply running down halls.

i think it was just the fact i knew there wasn't really a little girl there combined with not being able to move or make a sound to alert anyone that got me, but there was no doubt it was some spooky stuff

Fair point, but some people get trauma more easily than others and have it longer than others, but that's another possibility.

I loving love you for understanding that there is still a possibility.

i forgot to say that the man that was smiling and waving in my experience looked friendly and he was laughing
thx brain

The stereotypical girl is common actually, I think I've read a few no sleeps based off of it.

What if the dark figure was Shockwave-shaped? XP

Yeah, from what I've heard, those are freaking nightmare fuel
It's just stuff that your brain dreams up when it's awake, but your body is still asleep
People apparently call up paranormal investigators every now and then on them

...Well, once the Dead Files said there were inter-dimensional beings trying to get in the client's house that were similar to your description, but that's a Travel Channel reality show. It can't be true. Right?

At one point i went through tons of night terrors as a child, one time my mom closed the door in my room when i was ~8 and i swear the door turned into a hole,
It physically felt like i was being sucked in

And one time i saw a massive rancor-like beast on the staircase in front of my room, just staring at me
loving hell that stuff took a while to recover from
And maybe typing this at 10pm in my bedroom isnt a good idea
