To hell with the 6 million, that was a long time ago. 100 million native Americans died, but no one gives a stuff. Heck, even more recent and newer genocides have occurred since then.

How about the all the other victims that were killed in the Holocaust like the gypsies, the homoloveuals, the crippled, the deformed, mixed ethnics, even blacks. Oh that's right, every time the holocaust is brought up we have to remember the 6 million because for some reason, only the jews get special attention.

We are all humans, no one should get special treatment because of their background. All victims and people are deserving of equal attention.

The Jewish race did take the brunt of the attempted genocide (If I recall correctly their 6 million dead is roughly 50% of all killed in concentration camps/ghettos, as far as I was taught in History class several years ago), but they were just the largest single group targeted. And equal (or similar) number of non-Jews were also killed by the national socialist's.

While the Bolsheviks were opposed to religion, Christian as well as Jewish, they also opposed antisemitism and any form of discrimination against Jews or any minority. Several prominent members of Soviet government institutions and the Communist Party came from a Jewish background. In 1918, the Yevsektsiya was established to promote Marxism and the related ideas of secularism and assimilation among the Jewish population.
Basically, the USSR was supposed to be accepting towards the jews as much as any religion, but things got bad with Stalin.

Honestly the world would not care about the wars in the Middle East if the Middle East didn't have oil. I mean, Muslims are getting slaughtered in Myanmar and CAR, and that never gets coverage. Just think about the Second Congo War, the deadliest conflict since WW2, which killed approximately 10 million people between 1998 and 2003. How much coverage did that get? Almost none. What about the insurgency in Uganda? That has killed 65,000 people. Compare that to the insurgency in Yemen which gets a whole lot more coverage and has killed a measly 6,000 people. (Don't get me wrong, that's still 6,000 people too many)

yeah its loving our economy now. but in 50 years we will have 90% of earths oil, and the other superpowers will have to suck our richard again.
