Author Topic: what software set do you use?  (Read 3099 times)

I use Photoshop CS6 for complex image manipulation and also drawing. Paint.NET for quick edits (like size and such). For tracking guitar and drums and bass and all that jazz, I use Reaper. For quick sound editing, I use Audacity. For video editing, I use Sony Vegas.

i use adobe creative cloud and sony movie studio platinum 12 for creative stuff. office 2013 for worky stuff.

sublime text 3 for torquescript and python (and any other goofy scripting languages), visual studio 2012 for C++

winamp/foobar2000 for music, audacity for sound editing. paint.net for simple image editing. chrome for web browsing. steam for games. OBS for recording.

i guess that's p much all the software i use consistently

I removed a load of programs I don't use not long ago.

Paint.net
Adobe Audition
Adobe Premiere
Unity
Visual Studio
Notepad++

I have Blender sitting around but I rarely use it

i use Polaris Office on my Galaxy Tab 4 for writing stuff in school during class lectures.
I use paint.net to edit my images on my desktop.
I use steam for the majority of my games.
I use MyBoy! to emulate my old Metroid Fusion GBA game, along with my other ones I had when I was younger.
I use iTunes for all my iPod music needs; I mostly use youtube now though because I have a lot of good touhou, gunbuster and space battleship yamato anime music on there.
I use Gmail for email
I use Imgur for uploading my images these days
and I also use the Blockland Forums.

i use photoshop and illustrator for long term project edits, and paint.net and inkscape as their quick edit counter-parts. (inkscapes a free vector program) i also have hexels, which is what i used to make this

i use after effects in (sometimes) conjunction with cinema 4d for all motion design related projects, including a lot of 3D related stuff. i use element 3D within after effects which is probably the most god-tier plug-in for ae

i use autodesk ultimate collection (maya, 3dsmax, motionbuilder, mudbox, recap, and softimage), blender, cinema4d, and google sketchup for modelling/rendering

i use ableton live 9 trial to play live mixes with my launchpad, live 8.2.1 to make and save my own projects, and audacity for cutting and sampling songs

i use notepad++ for coding. most notably (recently) html and ftp

i use steam for my games, along with project 64 and dolphin for my n64, gamecube, and wii iso/roms (i also use dolphin to rip models/textures/levels/whateverican from games)

i use OZMAV2, sharp ocarina, sayakagl, and hylian toolbox to edit my oot debug rom, and i use zelda tech and zeldit to edit zelda nes roms

and i use a combination of edited rainmeter skins to tie it all 2gether so its all easy access

gimp, iMovie, GarageBand, iShowU or fraps and notepad++ for media editing and I use Steam and Skype for social, I use safari or chrome depending on what computer I'm on

paint.net for occasional pixel art and simple image editing
gimp for drawing
wings3d to model stuff that'll never be completed ; A ;
inkscape cause i need to practice drawing with vectors (eventually)
skype for chatting
steam for... playing occasionally?
word pad to make awesome notes/idea compilations/things i've learned

on a side note i use pokki as a startmenu to keep things convenient

iTunes for my music library. Even though I hate it I'm not motivated enough to import my music to some better media player. Plus I hardly ever listen to music on my laptop, I just import it to my iPod and listen from that.

Audacity for hard-editing audio (cut, copy, paste)
Ableton Live for composing and recording music
Paint.NET web browser
Steam for talking to friends and taking up hard drive space(duh)
Avast Anti-Virus for image editing

i use google earth a ton just to 3D model some places on sketchup and insert 'em there. also polygons too
TurboC++, a really classic old C++ compiling program.
i LOVE to use celestia, a program where u explore space and stuff.

I can't think of anymore else, I'm planning on learning visual stuff soon though.

blockland in the windows in the asus

paint.net for images, audacity for sound editing, i need to get a good video editing software

where is adobe's competition?

im willing to pay 10 a month subscription for all of microsoft office, bullstuff but thats doable.

but i will NOT pay 20 a month, PER ADOBE APP!
i want at least 3 of them. not worth 60 bucks a month!

where are the quality alternatives. there is a loving market for it based on not wanting to pay up the ass for a program.

paint.net/gimp for photos
FL Studio for music
Virtual DJ (for now) for djing
Ultra Edit for coding if I ever actually do
Audacity for sample obtaining
Chrome for webbrowsing
Steam for games
