youre not gonna play comfortably unless you get some sort of controller

youre not gonna play comfortably unless you get some sort of controller
ill try that

either
get an N64
or
get an USB n64 controller, they exist

get an USB n64 controller, they exist
an USB

you should definitely play with some kind of gamepad, whether it be a PC gamepad or a USB N64 controller.

get xbla version
I don't want to play to get online just to spend more money on a game and console I don't own

Make sure the rom is a dump from your copy of the game. If not, then i'm not helping.

I do OWN a copy of the dam game I would play it on the old n64 but I don't have a controller for it, nor the av or what ever cable
anyway im using an ps3 controller.

Here's the keybinds I usually use for n64 games (translated from 360 to dualshock)

left stick = center stick
d-pad = d-pad
right stick = c buttons
RB/LB = R/L
X = A
circle = B
right trigger = Z
triangle = start

that's almost the same setup I use currently!
anyway the movement is a bit a pain.

What do you mean? Are you using the stick to move or the d-pad?
Bad controls can really forget you up in a platformer.
