Author Topic: Which gaming console had the best controller?  (Read 3479 times)

Poll only has Gen 5 or newer systems that are relevant. No one cares about LeapFrog consoles.

Other is good for older stuff like NES and Genesis.

The year is 20XX, and the government is issuing a bill which will standardize a single gaming controller for every game ever made. Which controller do you pick?

Xbox 360 can't be beat.
Especially the newer edition.

360 controller is way more comfortable than the PS3 controller by a huge margin
my biggest problem with the playstation controller was that the little grip-nubs were loving tiny so trying to hold the thing was super awkward

forgetin' Saturn/Genesis D-Pads were ace.

360 d-pad is a piece of stuff

play station controllers are best

gamecube, its survived 2 console generations already and its about to do one more with the wii u

Xbox 360. The Xbone ruined it by making the buttons shallower and closer together.
I also like the Gamecube controller. The triggers are really good.

Gamecube controller. If you don't need a stick, Super Famicom, or GBA-SP if it counts.

I had a 3rd party PS2 controller that made them a lot bigger so holding that controller was a dream.

gamecube controllers were great
they came in those sweet colors and were comfortable
