People act like iPhones are the mark of the devil, but honestly, I enjoy using my iPhone 5, and I am a very pro-technology person. I love my PC because it is capable of lots of powerful computing applications, like the terminal, for example. I don't care if my phone has a terminal or not, because it's very likely that I won't be using it anyways. I just use my PC for that kind of stuff. To me, phones are meant to be convenient and easy-to-use, just like iPhones are. Again, only my opinion, and I can understand why Andriod users love their phones, but it's not for me.
I like this point of view, and it's mostly correct, I don't think I ever used any terminal on my Android since I don't think anyone actually needs to.
However, you are wrong about the "easy to use", same as everyone else who says it's "easy to use". Android's complexity is comparable to Windows, not Linux. Just like you can use a iPhone out of the box, you CAN use an Android out of the box, without going deeper in the advanced settings and such. You have the option for deep customization and settings but only if you want to, just like Windows has thousands of settings and hidden settings, and can be configured. However, ain't nobody got time for that, many people just have stock Windows and never crawl in the Control Panel or through customization except putting a cat wallpaper or whatever.
Android isn't the Devil of user-friendly, just like the iPhone, it can be used out of the box without changing any setting. But you have the default choice to go deeper at any time, which is what iPhone doesn't from that perspective.
